Peter K.C. Lee Professional Corporation, Chartered Professional Accountant, is a full-service accounting firm based in Markham, Ontario.  We offer assurance, accounting, bookkeeping, consulting and tax services to start-ups, small to medium sized enterprises and as well as individuals.

The firm was founded by Peter K.C. Lee, CPA, CFP in April 2014.  Peter has over 21 years of experience in public accounting and prior to establishing his own firm, Peter was a senior manager in the private enterprise group of a big 4 accounting firm.  Having worked in both small and large accounting firms, Peter gained valuable experience in serving clients and dealing with complex accounting and tax issues. 

Peter believes in working closely with the owner or management to deliver our services and at the same time, build trust and a strong business relationship.  Peter has a strong network of colleagues specializing in different service areas and they can be called upon to complement Peter’s services.

Peter has given numerous tax seminars to various entities since he established the firm.  While working at the big 4 accounting firm, Peter also delivered internal training courses and was part of the student recruiting team.

In addition to being a CPA, Peter also holds the Certified Financial Planner designation and has completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Aside from running his practice, Peter currently serves on the board of a large private mortgage investment corporation.  Peter believes in giving back to the community and as such, he was a member of the board of directors of Hong Fook Mental Health Association for 6 years, the last 3 of which he was the Treasurer.  Upon expiration of the second term in September 2020, Peter remains in the HR & Finance committee and the Accreditation committee to continue his contribution to the organization.

As a diversion from the busy day-to-day life, Peter enjoys travelling, particularly to Taiwan and Japan. Peter is also a fan of aviation and collects model airliners.  In addition, Peter is a huge sports fan and his favorites teams are the Leafs, Raptors and the Blue Jays.
